Thankful Purpose

A Study of Colossians

Everyone loves a good story of redemption and second chances. We’ve seen characters like Rocky, the Little Giants, and Ebenezer Scrooge develop and become different people by the end of the movie. We rooted for their personal stories of redemption. We can experience redemption in our own lives, but we must first recognize opportunities when they arise – to see the potential for change, to win where we have previously failed, and to get back up after we fall. God is the ultimate redeemer, possessing the power to change any circumstance. If we cultivate a spirit of thankfulness toward God for all our situations, He can turn even our hardest times into something good. This mindset allows us to live with purpose, grateful for the redemption He offers in our lives.
