Current Teaching Series: Don't Be a Balaam
In the story of Balaam, we see the tension between following selfish desires and living in obedience to God – a tension we still feel today in our own lives. There never seems to be a shortage of different opinions on where we should go, what we should do, and how we should live. Amidst all these competing voices, are we tuned in to how God is calling us to live? In the end, it’s up to each of us to decide who we will follow. Who do you choose?

Evangelism Training
Following the 10:30 a.m. gathering on March 2 we will enjoy a quick lunch and then dive into our Evangelism Training Event. This meeting will cover the basics of personal evangelism, which will prepare you to share the gospel clearly and simply whenever the opportunity arises. We will also learn about the importance of leading kids to Christ, who will then get to enjoy a lifelong spiritual foundation. This time will help prepare you for the important task of raising them up. We’ll also spend time talking through how we reach our coworkers, the people we spend the most time with outside of our family. Our relationships at work are some of the most important ones we form. Yet, sharing the gospel with these friends can be difficult and there are many practical obstacles to consider. This afternoon session will help you navigate through common challenges and prepare you to take those first steps in empowering your own evangelism.

55 Alive
This IMPACT ministry for those 55 and older meets on the first Thursday of each month. Our meeting on Thursday, March 6 will include going to the Golden Corral for lunch and then heading to the Medical Heritage Museum in Lancaster. The museum opened in 1982 and covers many of the rich heritages of Lancaster County in the medical field of the healing arts. There are many fascinating exhibits. We will meet at the church to carpool and leave from there at 12:15 p.m. The cost for lunch and the museum is $20. Payment is due when signing up at the Connect Desk and should be in cash only.

Please reach out to lori@impactpa.church with any questions.

Current Teaching Series: I'm Sorry!
Apologies today often seem more like a strategy to avoid consequences than a genuine expression of remorse and a commitment to change. Too frequently, we say "I'm sorry" not because we truly regret our actions, but because we want to avoid trouble. In reality, an apology only holds weight when it’s backed by sincere repentance. When we acknowledge the harm we’ve caused, our apology should reflect genuine remorse, a recognition of the consequences, and a sincere desire to do better. The question is, are we truly sorry for what we’ve done, or are we merely trying to escape the repercussions of our actions?

This afternoon session will teach you to navigate through common challenges and obstacles while preparing you to take the first steps in empowering your own evangelism.
