The National Day of Prayer is an annual day of observance held on the first Thursday of May, designated by the United States Congress, when people are asked "to turn to God in prayer and meditation". You can pray at your local school’s flag pole, pray at your town’s observance or just pray in your home or at work. Some of us will be meeting in Parkesburg at noon at the firehouse. We will also have the church open for those who want to come and pray here on Thursday.
