Jim started attending IMPACT Church since its inception and attended Church of the Open Bible since 1996. He was previously an elder and deacon for COB and did the accounting for the church for over 20 years. He attends with his wife, Linda who he met when working in Columbia, MD. They were married in 1988 and now have four adult children and nine grandchildren.
Jim graduated from The University of Illinois in 1985 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering and later from Johns Hopkins University with a Master’s in Computer Science Engineering.
Jim worked for 21 years at Vanguard Group doing UNIX Administration and upon retiring began working as a school bus driver for Octorara Area School District. He recently finished building his third house and also enjoys working on cars, which he hopes to get back into soon. Jim serves on the Production Team, the Building Committee, as a deacon, and helping out with projects around the church. Outside of church, his hobbies including building or fixing just about anything.
His hope for IMPACT Church is that our church would be a light in the community and that people would be saved by our outreach and activities.
